archyde Interviews: moos’s Owner on the viral Office Dog Sensation

By Archyde News Desk

Archyde news recently sat down with Ms. Anya Petrova, the owner of the now-famous golden Retriever, Moos, to discuss his viral success as the “Employee of the Decade.”

Anya, thank you for joining us. The internet has fallen head over heels for Moos. Can you describe the moment you realized he was more than just a regular office dog?

Anya Petrova: Thank you for having me! Well, it wasn’t just one moment, it was a gradual thing. Even as a puppy, moos always had this incredibly focused energy, especially when he saw the lunch bags. But when the TikTok video started gaining traction, and people were so charmed by him bringing in the lunches every day, that’s when I knew he was something special. It was more than just a cute dog; he was bringing joy and a bit of sunshine into everyone’s day.

Can you tell us about Moos’s daily “employee” routine? Dose he get excited when he sees you preparing the lunch bag?

Anya Petrova: Absolutely! The excitement begins the minute I approach the counter. He knows that lunch bag means work, which means fun! He waits patiently, then proudly takes the bag,and we head off to my office. he walks in very focused, finds his favorite person, and drops the bag at their feet. From then on, he greets everyone, maybe does a little desk-side patrol! At lunchtime, he gets his own small treat and a lot of head scratches.

We’ve seen the comments on the video. What kind of impact has Moos had on the office morale?

Anya Petrova: It’s been phenomenal. Honestly, he’s a mood booster. Deadlines and stress vanish when Moos ambles through the door with the lunch bag! There’s more conversation, more laughter. people from other departments now make excuses to come by our office, just to see him. It’s a real shift in the atmosphere, making the workday more enjoyable for everyone.

Are there any official benefits, any “Employee of the Decade” perks, so to speak?

Anya Petrova: (laughs) Nothing official yet, but he’s constantly showered with treats and extra cuddles. And, of course, all the attention from his “colleagues.” The team definitely sees him as a valued member. I wouldn’t be surprised if he starts expecting a pay raise soon, as some of the TikTok commenters jokingly suggested! He currently enjoys a very comfortable working habitat with very good conditions, which keeps him well-motivated.

For other companies considering the idea of having pets in the office, what advice would you give?

Anya Petrova: It’s a great idea, but there are a few things to consider. First, ensure all employees are comfortable with dogs, check for allergies, and have a plan for any potential issues. Consider the dog’s temperament – is it suited for a busy office environment? Most importantly, make it a positive experience for everybody involved. And if you’re lucky enough to have a Moos, the benefits are endless!
