Warner Bros. Games and NetherRealm Studios today announced the Mortal Kombat 11 Pro Competition: Season 2, the return of the global esports program of Mortal Kombat 11, the fastest-selling title in the series’ history and from which to date over 8 million units have been sold worldwide. The upcoming season starts on December 5th and includes only an online format in which all available games are played exclusively on PlayStation 4 via the PS4 tournament function. The Mortal Kombat 11 Pro Competition: Season 2 offers fighters of all ranks the opportunity to compete online in three different regional leagues, each representing North America, Latin America, Europe, Oceania and the Middle East, for prizes totaling $ 60,000. Each league is divided by region and includes eight separate regular online season events for players in which they can earn “Pro Competition” points, which they need for the corresponding regional final game, which produces one winner per league. Players will also be able to use fighters from the recently released Mortal Kombat 11 Ultimate, including Mileena, Rain and Rambo.

Mortal Kombat 11 Pro Competition: Season 2 global leagues include:
- North American League – North America East & North America West
- InterContinental Kombat – Europe, Middle East & Oceania
- Latin League – Brazil, Mexico, Latin America North & Latin America South
