On Wednesday, a pedestrian bridge collapsed on DC-295 in northeast Washington, United States, injuring at least six people and trapping a truck that began to lose fuel.
Four cars were stuck under the debris of the bridge.
Witnesses said they heard a loud bang and saw smoke when the bridge collapsed.
The bridge will need to be dismantled so that teams can effectively investigate and rebuild it for users and pedestrians.
Washington Mayor Muriel Bowser said the bridge itself had no structural problems, but investigators would now inspect other bridges on that road to avoid further collapses.
