Canadiens prospect Cole Caufield learned the hard way on Saturday that it’s always best to keep your head up on the ice.
In the third period of the game between the University of Wisconsin Badgers and the University of Notre Dame Fighting Irish, Caufield fired a shot in the direction of the opposing net.
However, while he watched the puck spinning towards the cage of Notre-Dame, the small striker never saw Colin Theisen arrive.
The Fighting Irish winger then completely demolished Caufield, who then collapsed on the ice.
After long seconds, the talented right-hander however (and fortunately!) Got up.
Theisen was sent off from the game for punching the head.
Last I heard, Caufield, who finally finished the game, was doing well.
