This Tuesday, workers from Neupré discovered drilled holes in two trees on rue Butay. Acid had been poured inside a lime tree and a chestnut tree.

This is a fact that arouses a lot of emotion within the municipality of Neupré. On Tuesday, two workers were sent to a small wooded area at the entrance to Butay Street, with the aim of maintaining it. But on site, the team could only see that two trees had been purely and simply vandalized. (photos).

“It’s scandalous,” says Virginie Defrang-Firket, mayor of Neupré. “We are really disgusted by this act. Those trees didn’t bother anyone! »
