Christiane Meert and Pierre De Koster live in Dilbeek and are very happy with their small house located in the rue de la gare. But for several weeks, they have been facing a small problem which they would have done well without.
Indeed, a hedge makes life difficult for them every time they want to get their car in or out of their garage, located a little further, in Wolsemstraat. Because to get there, they have to go through a small municipal road strewn with greenery… but which is not maintained.
Or at least not completely: “The municipality goes through an external company for maintenance. A few weeks ago, the firm came, but they were instructed to cut only on the top, and not on the sides, ”explained the couple to the Nieuwsblad. Suddenly, each time they want to pass by car, their vehicle ends up with scratches. But that’s not the only problem.
“We reported the problem to the municipality and the neighborhood agent has already come to take pictures […] He also thought it was irresponsible, because the view is limited when you want to get on the road and you don’t see the cars or any pedestrians coming.
Christiane and Pierre are so desperate that they want to take care of the hedge themselves… but they can’t. In the meantime, they therefore leave their car along the road.
