There will be movement at the head of the Colruyt group. On April 1, Gondola announces that Marc Hofman, COO Retail of the brand since 2018, will retire.
In addition to Jef Colruyt, CEO of the group, two members of the management committee will take up the torch. Jo Willemyns, Managing Director of Marketing, will now take care of Colruyt’s food distribution formulas, while Stefan Goethaert, who will also remain COO of Colruyt Group Fine Food, will be responsible for the HR and IT departments.
Hanne Poppe, spokesperson, spoke about these movements within the brand: “We have chosen not to go into the details of these changes within the organization today: we want to give the managers concerned the necessary space to carry out the transfer and the follow-up. We will come back to this during a press moment later this year, in the spring”.
