The “ViaVia” tapas restaurant in Heverlee is appealing on Facebook. The establishment wants to find a family after having overcharged customers by 1,000 euros.
“These are difficult times for all of us. We fell off our chairs. We probably pressed too many zeros on the Bancontact device. A costly mistake for the family in question. It goes without saying that we want to give back what is not ours,” writes ViaVia on the social network.
The restaurant asks the customers in question to identify themselves and to inform the cashier that it is them. They will then be reimbursed after the blunder of the restaurateur.
