This is news that may displease French workers who travel regularly to Luxembourg to buy cigarettes: prices have increased in the Grand Duchy. The government council has indeed validated an increase that was to come into effect on February 1, 2020. The excise price is increased to 12.25 euros for 1,000 euros, against 12 euros at present.
