The Japanese Kashima Antlers announced the consensual termination of his contract with former Al-Ahly coach Rene Weiler, so what did the Swiss coach do with the Japanese team during his 8-month tenure only?
Kashima Antlers issued an official statement on Sunday morning, announcing the termination of Fyler’s contract, after the defeat by Sanfrecce Hiroshima in the J-League on Saturday.
Kashima Antlers did not win in the last 5 matches in the J-League, drew 3 times and lost on two occasions, to fall to fourth place in the table with 40 points, 8 points behind leaders Yokohama F Marinos.
Kashima Antlers were eliminated from the Japan Professional League Cup in the quarter-finals, with a defeat by Nagoya Grampus.
