On Monday evening, local police said several reports were received of gunshots in Deurne, in the Sevillastraat area. The police immediately went to the scene and established a security perimeter.
Meanwhile, the police Rapid Response Team (RRT) managed to locate and intercept a suspicious vehicle. “The occupants have been arrested,” another police statement said. “It is up to the investigation to reveal whether they are involved in the offences.”
