This Monday, May 31 at 6 o’clock ends the strict confinement of nine days dictated by the Government. Then, the measures will be the same as those in force until the 21st of the same month. But On the weekend of June 5 and 6, the harsh restrictions will return that they stayed for little more than a week.
In this sense, the national authorities have already hinted what their plan will be for the future. This includes continue quarantines intermittently -as long as it is necessary- to reduce social gatherings and achieve greater compliance, as well as continue with the vaccination campaign.
In the last week, a large number of doses entered the country to combat the coronavirus. 2,684,600 vaccines were distributed between Sputnik V and AstraZeneca. In this way, Argentina would have already received -with the arrival of another 2,148,600 from AstraZeneca- about 17.5 million immunizers.
As reported by TN, from the Casa Rosada they assured that they are persuading those who must sign up to be inoculated. “Every time a group comes to ask for priority for its people, we tell them to sign everyone up for the campaign, because there are many who are not registered,” they asserted.
As for the strict confinements, nobody assures that the one that is being traveled and the one that is approaching are the last. In fact, different officials have publicly acknowledged the possibility of taking these measures during the colder winter months.
The President of the Nation will analyze the numbers of infections and deaths of Covid-19 for the next few days to make a determination before Friday, June 11, the date on which the current decree expires.

The Public Vaccination Monitor released the data that, until this Saturday, 14,513,390 vaccines were distributed. On this total, 11,851,913 have already been applied, of which 9,177,746 citizens were inoculated with the first dose, while 2,674,167 completed the vaccination process.
