Semi-finished products are at the top of Moroccan exports, generating the sum of 62.88 billion dirhams, an increase of 26.31 billion dirhams compared to the same period a year earlier. In detail, these are natural and chemical fertilizers (34.4 billion dirhams), phosphoric acids (12.32 billion dirhams) or even electronic components (3.05 billion dirhams).
Finished consumer products come second in Moroccan exports with a total of 59.38 billion dirhams. Passenger cars alone account for double the exports of finished consumer products, reaching 24.92 billion.
Finished industrial equipment products close the podium after recording 34.29 billion dirhams of exports. An improvement of 6.5 billion dirhams compared to the first half of 2021. These are mainly wires, cables and conductors for electricity.
Food products come in fourth position with exports which reached during the first six months of the year the sum of 34.07 billion dirhams, including 7.17 billion dirhams of crustaceans, molluscs and shellfish, 5.22 billion dirhams of fresh tomatoes and 3.97 billion dirhams of dried fruits.
