Whatsapp is currently testing the function, including that Hide online status from all or only certain contacts. Previously, a screenshot showed two options for the “Who can see when I’m online?” setting, viz “Everyone” or “Same as Last Online”. The settings for the “Last Seen” timestamp are as follows:

  • Everyone
  • my contacts
  • My contacts except…
  • Nobody

Although the screenshot comes from a Whatsapp test version for iOS, this function should according to WABetaInfo also for Android appear.
