Wild Hunt lasts 30 minutes

Eurogamer recently had the opportunity to visit CD Projekt RED to check out The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt – Complete Edition, the next-gen update for PC, Xbox Series X/S and PS5. It adds quality features, a 4K/30 FPS ray-traced global illumination mode, a new camera angle, a few secrets, and more. There’s also a long-awaited quest based on the Netflix series The Witcher, available for free on all platforms and taking place in a familiar location.

Turns out it’s the Devil’s Pit in Velen. The location caught the attention of the players because it was very difficult, but it had only a few human enemies and a mine with a closed entrance. In the new quest, players go to the mine for an unforgettable fight. It’s about 30 minutes with a level 15 requirement, although there is an additional step.

After completing it, you will receive the Forgotten Wolf Equipment, which will make Geralt look like Henry Cavill in the first season of the show. Screenwriter Philip Webber revealed that when you upgrade it, you’ll get a master cut that resembles the armor from Season 2. It’s worth noting that the Netflix quest and new features will be available after December 14 on Nintendo Switch.

CD Projekt RED also implemented slow walking speed with a controller, radial menu improvements (to switch to inventory from the radial menu), fall damage tweaks, and instant herb picking.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt – Complete Edition launches December 14th for Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and PC.
