Will you fall for this machine that applies makeup unveiled by L’Oréal?

L’Oréal is present at CES 2023 this week to announce a new high-tech product for make-up. With his Brow MagicL’Oréal relies on augmented reality to offer a portable mini-printer that promises perfect eyebrows in an instant.

The CES 2023 electronics show is in full swing in Las Vegas, with a good number of connected objects. L’Oréal is present with an object that is unusual to say the least: a device that prints… the eyebrows. The cosmetics specialist has combined make-up with a printer and augmented reality.

L’Oréal Brow Magic is a ” smart brow makeup applicator to achieve custom results in seconds, tailored to the shape of each face “. It was developed in partnership with Prinker, specialist printers who create temporary tattoos. The Brow Magic features 2,400 nozzles that apply makeup with a resolution of over 3,000 drops per centimeter (1,200 drops per inch).

To use the device, you have to launch the L’Oréal Brow Magic application on your smartphone and scan your face. Thanks to its Modiface augmented reality technology, the app determines the shape of the eyebrows and makes recommendations for microblading, shadow, or fill. Select one of the options and refine your choice by modifying the color, shape, thickness or even the effect. Apply L’Oréal Brow Magic Primer to each brow, sweep over each brow with a sweeping motion, then add a finishing coat.

Makeup can be removed with a simple makeup remover standard. L’Oreal indicated that the launch of its printer Brow Magic is scheduled for 2023, but did not specify an exact date or price.
