Willy Borsus on stopping nuclear power: “It’s impossible”

Vhere is a short sentence and a position statement that will make some noise. While he was questioned in the committee of the Parliament of Wallonia on the TGV power station project (gas steam turbine) in Manage (Hainaut), Willy Borsus (MR) expressed a very strong position on the future of nuclear power in our country. : for the Minister of the Economy, doing without the power plants still in operation is “impossible” in the current situation.

As a reminder, the nuclear phase-out law provides for the definitive end of power plants by 2025. At the beginning of the week, Engie also recorded a depreciation of 2.9 billion in its annual results, just to mark the inevitability in his eyes of the Belgian decision.
