The controversy broke out in a donut shop in U.S when a woman started arguing at the counter with a local employee. The buyer claimed that a dozen donuts contained 50 pieces and that the company was not correctly fulfilling its service.

The video was recorded by a customer who was in the place at the exact moment in which the woman angrily approached the counter to demand that they sell her 50 donuts, despite the fact that the employee tried to explain that a dozen are 12 pieces not of 50.

“Fifty is a dozen, not twelve,” the woman is heard saying, visibly upset.

The uproar that the woman caused in the store caused a stir on social networks, where some Internet users humorously pointed out the confusion of the buyer.

Likewise, other users criticized the woman for not using the mask correctly in the middle of the covid-19 pandemic, putting the employees and consumers of the premises at risk.

Immediately, the clip went viral on TikTok, where it already has more than 200 thousand views. Some users began to call Mrs. “Karen”, a pejorative term used in the United States to refer to a woman who believes she has the right to demand more than is fair, equivalent to the use of “Lady” or “Lord” in Mexico.
