Christmas is just around the corner and many are probably wondering how German celebrities are spending the holidays. “On the 24th, my mom and brother will come to my house. They then go back at some point in the evening and then my friends come and we have a small party,” Timur Bartels (27) gives an insight into his Xmas planning in the “Bild” interview. His father’s death three years ago has changed Timur’s view of Christmas, as he explains: “I used to find all the back and forth at Christmas quite annoying and stressful. But today I don’t care at all because I know, for example, what it means to my mother that we spend it together. Sometimes you only realize that after a situation like this – how valuable every Christmas is when someone is suddenly missing.”
