The “Road to WrestleMania” begins with the first major event of the “Big Four” PPV’s, the Royal Rumble! The show begins with a classic video before commentators Michael Cole and Pat McAfee greet us euphorically. McAfee is full of anticipation, but the music of Roman Reigns, which opens tonight’s show, quickly plays. However, Seth Rollins caused a surprise, because “Sierra – Hotel – India – Echo – Lima – Delta – SHIELD” sounds in the hall and Rollins comes through the audience into the hall. Fans will delight in this tribute to The Shield, complete with matching in-ring attire.

Singles Match
Seth Rollins won against Roman Reigns (c) via DQ because Reigns didn’t release his guillotine choke despite a rope break.
Match time: 14:35
An ailing Seth Rollins writhes in the ring as Reigns is accompanied by “Roman Sucks” chants from the fans. Reigns walks out, grabs a chair and continues to attack Rollins. After several chair hits, Reigns exits the ring only to return once more and finally take out Rollins with more chair hits. Satisfied, he leaves the ring with his Universal Championship.
A video sets the tone for the “Road to WrestleMania” because in 63 days WrestleMania will be 38!
