Xanton-Chassenon. Children take control at Cintuona

On Wednesday, at the Cintuona library, a video game session was offered to children aged 5 to 7. The Vendée library lent a Nintendo Switch. Thus, six children from the town came to play Mario Kart. This collective activity of sharing provided with four controllers makes it possible to teach patience to the little ones. “It is above all a means of meeting, of exchanging withother children, to democratize video games by coming to the library where culture reigns”, according to Cédric Gilbert, the employee of the premises, who distributes the play times between the children. To end the session, he offers a quieter moment: the little ones have tested Hoa inspired by Japanese films. Another video game session will take place next Wednesday, upon registration at the library.
