Nigerian Afro-pop singer, songwriter and performer Yemi Eberechi Alade is undoubtedly one of Africa’s best female artists, thanks to her albums “Black Magic” and “Woman of Steel”. She has also just released her fifth studio project titled “Empress”.
Yemi Eberechi Alade teams up with music heavyweights including French singers Vegedream and Dadju on “Lose my mind” and “I Choose You”. But, also with the revered South African show choir, Mzansi Youth Choir in Rain, as well as Nigerian mega-stars. She also collaborated with British singer, songwriter, rapper, record producer and actress Estelle in “Weekend”. The 15-track album includes songs.
With her latest album “Woman of Steel”, Yemi Eberechi Alade has reserved her place in the Afrobeats pantheon with the gigantic collaboration with the winner of a Grammy, the Beninese Empress Angélique Kidjo. With “Empress”, Yemi enters the big leagues and African sensibilities.
Yemi Eberechi Alade, born March 13, 1989, appeared on the Nigerian entertainment scene in 2009 after her resounding victory at the Peak Talent Show. She later signed to Effyzzie Music Group, where she released the acclaimed hit by many music lovers, “Johnny” in 2014.
Since then, Yemi Alade has gained notoriety in the music industry following the release of his albums “King of Queens”, “Mama Africa”, which opened the doors to world tours.
