The “En’en case” has been on fire for more than a month. In the morning, senior media person Zhou Yukoo released a new poll. Among them, up to 70% of the citizens supported Enen’s father’s request for the New Taipei City government to launch an administrative investigation to restore the incident. As for Mayor Hou Youyi’s trust degree, the proportion of the original trust has decreased, and the proportion of new distrust has increased. Zhou Yukou believes that Hou Youyi’s myth is broken. In this regard, Hou Youyi said that you must do things well and do your work well!
At the beginning of the press conference, senior media person Zhou Yukou took out the poll data and said that Hou Youyi had broken the myth because of the Enen incident.
The Enen incident has lasted for more than a month. Is Hou Youyi really facing a crisis of confidence? In the latest poll, 1,073 samples of New Taipei residents over the age of 20 were interviewed. In response to Dad’s request for the city government to conduct an administrative investigation and find out the truth, 75.4% agreed and 12.5% disagreed.
Compare it with the 2018 mayoral election. At that time, the public initially trusted Hou Youyi by as high as 60.6%, originally distrusted only 2.3%, and increased distrust by 20.4%. After the Enen incident, the original trust became 39.7%. Trust increased to 6.4%, and new distrust increased to 28.5%.
However, in the poll, 38.5% of the people agreed and 38.4% disagreed that “Hou Youyi has major flaws in handling the crisis in the En’en case.” In fact, the difference is not big. Faced with this poll, New Taipei Mayor Hou Youyi emphasized that , will continue to work hard.
It remains to be seen how much the follow-up impact of an Enen incident will be.
