Zlatan back in Milan: “I’m going back to the city I love”

Zlatan Ibrahimovic arrived in Italy. The Swedish landed this Thursday morning around 11:30 am at Milan-Linate airport. Zvonimir Boban, football director at AC Milan, was on the runway, where he welcomed the 38-year-old star when he got off the plane. Many fans of the club also gathered.

The former PSG player, who spent his medical examination, also chose the number of his jersey: it will be 21. “I’m going back to the city I love”, he launched before taking the plane . Its first press conference will take place this Friday at 10 am.

Ibrahimovic, free of any contract since his departure from the Los Angeles Galaxy in mid-November, signed a six-month contract, estimated at 3 million euros, with an additional year optional according to a press release from the club where the striker has already evolved during two seasons between 2010 and 2012.

The Swede had scored 42 goals in 61 games, largely contributing to the last title won by the Italian club at the end of the 2010-2011 season. Ibrahimovic left Milan in the summer of 2012 to join PSG where he played for four years and scored 156 goals. In Paris, he notably won 12 trophies including 4 titles of champion of France in 2013, 2014, 2015 and 2016.
