[스포티비뉴스=장승하·장하준 영상기자]Kim Min-jae and Kalidou Koulibaly are showing mixed moves.

From 2014 to last year, Koulibaly was Napoli’s irreplaceable centre-back. He has long been a favorite of Napoli fans, leading the team’s defence.

But while Koulibaly was there, Napoli failed to win the league title, and Koulibaly took on a new challenge ahead of the season: a move to Chelsea.

As a result, Napoli picked Kim Min-jae as a replacement for Koulibaly. At the time of the transfer, Kim Min-jae had to bear the heavy burden of being a Koulibaly replacement because he was not a well-known defender in Europe.

However, Kim Min-jae, who was perfectly positioned to show off, led Napoli’s lead. And now, Napoli is close to winning the league for the first time in 33 years with a 15-point gap with second-placed Inter Milan.

Meanwhile, Koulibaly is going through a rough time. New club Chelsea are currently in 10th place in the Premier League and are struggling. In addition, Koulibaly himself is also showing a disappointing appearance this season.

Koulibaly, who had no experience winning Serie A, and Kim Min-jae, who came close to winning the first season following joining Naples. Halfway through the season, the two players face mixed fates.
