This visit was worth it!
FC won 8-1 (6-0) at Siegburger SV on Wednesday evening. Wolfgang Overath (78) was among the almost 3,500 spectators. Cologne’s ex-president (from 2004 to 2011), who lives in Siegburg, watched the game alongside current FC boss Werner Wolf (65).
Both saw FC in a good mood, which gave the middle Rhine league no chance. And that despite the fact that so many stars were missing at FC due to injuries and international trips. The most prominent absentees were strikers Anthony Modeste and Sebastian Andersson.

The other FC goals: Uth (10th & 45th), Kilian (18th), Hector (71st), Suchanek (82nd). Barini scored the consolation goal for Siegburg (82nd).
