Thar (Madhya Pradesh): 13 dead following bus falls into Narmada river in Thar district of Madhya Pradesh. A government bus going from Indore to Pune overturned. Authorities informed that 15 people were rescued. Officials said there were regarding 50 passengers in the bus. Rescue operation is going on.

The accident happened while crossing Sanchei Setu bridge at Calghat. This is the Agra-Mumbai National Highway. The cause of the accident is heavy rain. The bus lost control on the slippery road and hit the handrail of the bridge and fell into the river.

Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan condoled the incident. He informed that the team of the district administration is on the spot and collecting information accurately.
