The city of Casablanca recorded the highest number of new deaths, while that of Rabat-Salé-Kénitra observed an increase in the number of deaths within the region, this Tuesday, November 17.
In terms of deaths, the Kingdom recorded 82 deaths in the space of 24 hours. The Casablanca-Settat region recorded the highest number of new deaths with 18: 13 in Casablanca, 1 in Nouaceur and 4 in Médiouna.
Casablanca-Settat is followed by the region of Rabat-Salé-Kénitra which records an increase in new deaths, namely 16 distributed as follows: 3 in Salé, 5 in Skhirate-Témara, 2 in Rabat, 3 in Kénitra and 3 in Khemissat.
The Oriental region has 13 new deaths in Oujda-Angad (7), Nador (1), Taourirt (1), Berkane (1) and Guercif (1), Driouch (1) and Figuig (1), while that of Tanger-Tétouan-Al Hoceima has 10 (3 in Tanger-Assilah, 1 in M’diq Fnideq, 2 in Larache, 3 in Ouazzane and 1 in Chefchaouen).
For its part, the Souss-Massa region has 3 new deaths in Chtouka-Ait Baha (1) and Taroudant (2), while 7 new deaths were observed in Marrakech-Safi distributed as follows: 4 in Marrakech, 1 in Essaouira, 1 in Youssoufia and 1 in Chichaoua.
The region of Fès-Meknes recorded 5 new deaths including 1 in Fès, 1 in Sefrou, 1 in Meknes, 1 in Taounat and 1 in Ifrane, while that of Darâa-Tafilalet observed 3 new deaths in Errachidia (2) and Ouarzazate ( 1), one less than the region of Béni Mellal Khénifra with 4 deaths all concentrated in Khouribga.
The region of Guelmim Oued-Noun has two new deaths in Guelmim (1) and Tan Tan (1). The last region to register a new death is that of Dakhla Oued Eddahab in Oued Ed-Dahab.
