16 subjects stole 700 kilograms of copper in Sidor

The soldiers attached to the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (Fanb) detained the citizens in flagrante delicto.

16 subjects were arrested by members of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (Fanb), because they allegedly stole 700 kilograms of copper from the Siderúrgica del Orinoco Alfredo Maneiro (Sidor).

The general in chief, Domingo Hernández Lárez, strategic operational commander of the Fanb, revealed that the military commissions surprised the band in flagrante delicto.

The strategic material was recovered and the citizens transferred to the local PNB headquarters.

Deployment

Hernández Lárez also announced that the Fanb is deployed in Bolívar and Amazonas states executing the nation’s environmental protection, security and defense plans.

The operation is being carried out in areas protected by the State, such as national parks, forests and forest reserves.
