Dubai: Under the patronage of UAE President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the 17th edition of Al Dhafra Festival will be held from 21 October 2023 to 8 February 2024.

The event is organized by the Abu Dhabi Cultural Programs and Heritage Festival Committee in collaboration with the Emirates Heritage Club as part of the Camel Masaina season in Abu Dhabi.

The program aims to support heritage conservation projects, promote and develop heritage festivals and empower camel owners to sustain camel breeding and management.

The festival highlights the role of camels in the culture and heritage of the UAE and GCC countries. Camel breeds compete in the Azael, Majahim, Azael hybrid and Wad categories. The 17th edition of the Al Dhafra Festival is the biggest since its inception in 2008.
