20 thousand inhabitants of the border municipality of Ureña benefited with the installation of LED lighting

Through the Ministry of Popular Power for Electric Energy (MPPEE), ratifying its commitment to the users of the region

In order to benefit more than 20 thousand inhabitants, the workforce of the National Electric Corporation (Corpoelec) installed technology lights (LED) in communities of the Pedro María Ureña municipality, located on the border axis of the Táchira state.

The work consisted of the installation of 100 W lamps in the Nueva Arcadía parish of Aguas Calientes, covering six communities of El Paraíso, Barrio Las Flores, Calle 7, Calle 8 and Los Tanques I parcels.

Likewise, the lighting tasks were carried out by specialized personnel assigned to the State Distribution Management, responding to the requests registered by the Popular Power organized through the 1×10 of Good Government to benefit the inhabitants of Ureña, a border municipality.

These actions are part of the Comprehensive Expressway Lighting Plan, carried out by the National Government through the Ministry of Popular Power for Electric Energy (MPPEE), ratifying its commitment to the users of the region, in order to guarantee the stability of the National Electrical System (SEN).
