With guests from Salzburg and two other federal states, the rural youth celebrated their anniversary with a three-day festival for all generations.
The local group in Bramberg is twenty years young – reason enough for LH Deputy. Marlene Svazek, to personally congratulate on the big “birthday”: “Here you can literally feel how the rural youth brings generations, people and clubs together. The members help shape local life, do a significant part of youth work, take on voluntary positions and spend countless hours and days with voluntary work. Rural youth are an essential part of the community in rural areas.” With 110 members from Bramberg, Neukirchen, Wald and Krimml, the local group is characterized by friendship and solidarity. In 2012, a playground for young families was built in a housing estate, the fence in the parish garden was replaced and the MS students started a fundraising run with the LJ.
Chairwoman Julia Hochwimmer is pleased regarding her thriving and active team and their enormous commitment: “We have many members who are talented in their crafts and who like to do something for the place.”
After the disco on Friday, the beer tent was well attended on Saturday, and on Sunday the ceremony with 34 clubs and LJ groups from Salzburg, Tyrol and Vorarlberg was on the program. Country youth rocks!
