At the level of the Dubai Financial Market, the Dubai Financial Market index rose by 0.27% at the level of 3531 points.

The subscription for the shares of the Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) ends today, Tuesday, April 5, with the end of the subscription period for the second tranche, which are the qualified investors (institutions), as the first initial public offering among 10 proposed offerings for companies linked to the Dubai government with the aim of reviving the market.

Meanwhile, 7 shares rose, 4 fell, and 4 remained stable.

The value of trading in the market was regarding 19.9 million dirhams through 6.86 million shares.

And the Dubai stock market topped the shares in terms of trading value by regarding 9.81 million dirhams, followed by the Emaar share by regarding 5.44 million dirhams, as well as the stock market shares in terms of trading volumes through 3.88 million shares.

The regional president highlighted his commitment to guarantee support for all patients in special and vulnerable conditions that require specialized medical attention.

He added that “it is important to point out the articulation, unifying efforts with excellent health professionals to guarantee the corresponding care, which allowed us to attend to more than 100 boys and girls on this first day.”

For his part, the president of Scoliosis Venezuela, Dr. Antonio Cartolano and head of Spine Surgery at the Children’s Orthopedic Hospital with more than 30 years of practice in this specialty, reported with pleasure the start of the program in the state of Bolívar, thanking the institutions involved by the invitation.

He stressed that the objective of the program is to establish a strong and permanent link with public and private institutions, in order to create a reference center that allows them to provide proper care to children with spinal deformities.

“Bringing our expertise added to the efforts of public and private entities, guaranteeing a better quality of life for these little ones,” he mentioned.

Cartolano explained that this condition might develop severe problems at the cardiopulmonary level and motor function throughout the patient’s life, for which he celebrated the holding of the consultation day that allowed evaluating and selecting the cases that merit surgical treatment.

For the medical consultation day, he mentioned the participation of specialists from the Scoliosis Venezuela Group such as Dr. Osmel Ascanio, first deputy of

said organization and the Children’s Orthopedic Hospital.

Yajaira Arocha de Marcano, first lady and president of the FSB, described the medical conference as successful, which was accompanied by conferences by various specialists from the region and from Caracas.
