The airline hopes to return to profitability in 2023, following the successive Covid crises and the sharp rise in energy prices. Only one certainty: the demand is back. To further stimulate it, Air Caraïbes has launched a national television campaign.

A green winter coat is certainly more noticeable than a black coat. Colored coats are a fashionable styling tip this season. I only discovered the color GREEN two years ago and am amazed at how quickly I made friends with it. It just has to be the right GREEN. I found this coat online at H&M in December for a special price. The cut convinced me to buy the coat and I was not disappointed.
I especially like black with green in winter. I like to combine my black knitted dress with it. The coat looks very elegant with black pants and a black pants suit. The green bag, green gloves and my green cuddly cashmere scarf make it a really effective winter look with the corresponding eye-catcher effect.

How to combine a green coat?
- Over a black knit dress it gives a very feminine look.
I combine black high boots with extravagant tights to match.
So that you can imagine it even better,
watch my popular video regarding it – CLICK HERE. - A cozy turtleneck sweater always looks advantageous under the coat. This can achieve a great effect in contrasting colors.
- Of course, a monochrome look in different shades of green is very popular.
- Any straight-cut jeans go well with it for a casual leisure look. The leisure look is underlined with the appropriate boots.
- Pink and green is a variant that inspired me on my last trip to Merano. A fresh and lively color combination. A pink scarf, matching beret and matching colored gloves. I’m currently a big fan of this color combination.
- Leather leggings have been popular for years. Black or dark blue leather trousers look fashionable and extravagant with a green coat.
- The black trousers and the black chunky knit sweater are a good styling mix in no time at all with the black coat. Uncomplicated and ideal for the city look.

Which accessories go with the green coat?
At the moment I combine either green accessories like a bag and gloves. Or I’m more colourful, then I like to use pink accessories. Black handbag, gloves and ankle boots look very classy. A chic cashmere scarf gives the coat a particularly elegant touch.

There are many winter coats
Walking through the streets, I often get the impression that there are only quilted coats this winter. No question, I am also a big fan of quilted coats. However, they often look too voluminous. And for a chic and feminine look, the wool coat is simply part of the basic equipment in my wardrobe, no matter what color we choose.
A wool coat will definitely keep you nice and warm. It’s a classic and never goes out of style. The wool coat is just as popular in a business look as it is for a visit to a classy restaurant. In the colors beige and black there will certainly always be one. Today’s green winter coat is cut oversized because I like to wear a cozy sweater or a blazer underneath.
- Do you wear a colored coat in winter?
- Are you more of a quilted coat or a wool coat wearer?
stay with me!
sincerely

Excess salt could trigger or amplify autoimmune diseases
Consuming too much salt is not only bad for blood pressure and the cardiovascular system, but can also have a negative impact on the immune system.
Excess salt lowers energy production in cells that regulate immune system responses to prevent them from becoming excessive, according to a study published in February 2023 in the journal Cell Metabolism.
Salt affects the innate immune system
Previous studies by the same research team have shown that excess salt in the diet can have negative effects on the metabolism and energy balance of certain types of innate immune cells, monocytes and macrophages, and prevent them from working properly. They also showed that salt triggers malfunctions in mitochondria, the “powerhouses” of cells.
The impact of salt on the adaptive immune system
Inspired by these results, Dominik Müller and Markus Kleinewietfeld, respectively from Max Delbrueck Center (Germany) and the Hasselt University (Belgium), and their colleagues wondered if excessive salt intake might create a similar problem in adaptive immune cells like regulatory T cells (or regulatory T lymphocytes) (Tregs).
These cells are responsible for maintaining the balance between normal immune system function and excessive inflammation. Tregs are sometimes referred to as the “police of the immune system” because they ward off undesirables, such as self-reactive immune cells (which attack the body itself), and ensure that immune responses proceed from controlled manner without harming the body.
Scientists believe that the dysregulation of Tregs is linked to the development of autoimmune diseases such as multiple sclerosis. Recent research has identified problems in the mitochondrial function of Tregs from patients with autoimmunity, but contributing factors remain unknown.
Previous research has also shown that excess salt can impact the function of Tregs by inducing an autoimmune-like phenotype, that is, by inducing changes in these cells similar to those implicated in autoimmune diseases. However, the exact way sodium impairs Treg function had not yet been discovered.
Salt interferes with mitochondrial function of Tregs
The new study shows that sodium disrupts the function of Tregs by altering cellular metabolism through interference with mitochondrial energy production. This mitochondrial problem appears to be the initial step in how salt alters the function of Tregs, leading to changes in gene expression that bear similarities to those of dysfunctional Tregs in autoimmune diseases.
Even short-term disruption of mitochondrial function has lasting consequences on the immune regulatory capacity of Tregs in various experimental models.
« Since Tregs also play a role in diseases such as cancer or cardiovascular disease, further exploration of these sodium-triggered effects might offer new strategies to modify Treg function in different types of diseases.
». « But future studies are needed to understand the molecular mechanisms in more detail and to clarify their potential relationship to disease.

Bundesliga: Hoffenheim loses against Leverkusen with Matarazzo
Status: 13.02.2023 00:01
New coach, same result – TSG Hoffenheim has not won the eleventh game in a row in the Bundesliga. Pellegrino Matarazzo’s debut saw a clear 1:3 (0:1) defeat once morest Bayer Leverkusen.
For Pellegrino Matarazzo, the first few minutes of his debut might hardly have gone worse. Leverkusen put Hoffenheim under pressure from the first minute and quickly defeated the opponent’s overstrained defence. Robert Andrich used an assist from Florian Wirtz with a flick from 18 meters to make it 1-0 (6th).

Frimpong misses several top chances
Hoffenheim had not won ten games in a row under Matarazzo predecessor Andre Breitenreiter, even losing eight of them – and TSG was lucky that the ninth defeat in eleven games was not sealed early on. Jeremie Frimpong alone missed a number of great chances, including a head on the goal net in the 24th minute, two minutes later he failed in a one-on-one situation by Hoffenheim goalkeeper Oliver Baumann.
After 30 minutes, the hosts managed to keep the game once morest the Werkself even and got back into the game with tackles. However, nothing happened in front of the opponent’s goal, instead Adam Hlozek missed the next opportunity for Leverkusen’s second goal in added time in the first half.
Hoffenheim overwhelmed with the fast Leverkuseners
If the slight improvement shortly before the end of the first half gave Matarazzo and Co. hope for improvement, it was gone very quickly. The ball landed over Wirtz and Frimpong at Moussa Diaby, who was allowed to push the ball into the empty goal following less than a minute to make it 2-0, which was long overdue.
And the next blow to the neck for Hoffenheim followed shortly followingwards. Again the defense mightn’t stop the fast Frimpong and this time Hlozek converted his cross (56′). The early decision in the game and the next bitter disappointment for TSG – and no trace of an effect of the change of coach.
Only then did Hoffenheim flare up a little, but they also benefited from the less intensive action of the Leverkusen team. Nevertheless, there was at least a sense of achievement, Stanley N’Soki scored to 1: 3 (77th). But it wasn’t enough for more.
Leverkusen initially in the Europa League
Leverkusen will continue in the intermediate round of the Europa League once morest AS Monaco (Thursday, February 16, 2023 at 9:00 p.m.). One day later (8.30 p.m.), Hoffenheim opened the 21st matchday in the Bundesliga with an away game once morest FC Augsburg. Bayer 04 welcome 1. FSV Mainz 05 two days later (7.30 p.m.).
