New Brunswick man claims he won $10,000 in contest Roll to win from Tim Hortons, but the restaurant chain refuses to pay.

Luc Massé said he bought a coffee at a Tim Hortons on Moncton’s Harrisville Boulevard on Monday morning before using his app to enter the contest Roll to win.
He claimed to New Acadia winning $10,000 in the form of an American Express prepaid card.
He then took a screenshot to show his wife before returning to the app where his award had disappeared.
The restaurant manager gave him the email address of the Tim Hortons support team who allegedly explained to him that it was impossible for them to pay.
A technical error
Contacted by the QMI Agency, Tim Hortons indicated that “a technical error caused a problem for a small group of participants in Roll to winfor a few hours on Monday morning.
“These participants received an erroneous message for a prize that cannot be won instantly by revealing a ledge. This prize can only be awarded to winners of one of our daily jackpot draws.
Tim Hortons says it is in contact with some of them “to express our regrets for any confusion or disappointment caused by this error.”
