Mystery in Villa Carlos Paz: a neighbor filmed “two strange lights” over Lake San Roque
In January 2022, a series of “lights in the sky” caught the attention of hundreds of Cordovans who took pictures of the phenomenon: it was regarding the 60 Starlink satellites, from Elon Musk’s SpaceX firm; but in the footage released now, only two “strange” lights can be seen that surprised tourists and residents of Villa Carlos Paz, in the area of the San Roque dam, west of the provincial capital.
The lights -according to the witness account- were at “a considerable height, towards the area where (the town of) Tanti is located.”
“We were on the waterfront, like any day, and suddenly those two lights appeared. They were regarding the height of the city of Tanti and the people who walked by stopped to observe. Then they disappeared like nothing happened”; said Marcelo, who recorded a video of the moment and shared it on his social networks.
The images were captured a few days ago in the area of the dam, they are not clear and the “objects” -as can be seen- were filmed from a distance.
Video: strange lights in Villa Carlos Paz
The Diario de Carlos Paz, which published the video, reported on the “phenomenon” and recalled that it is not the first time that these sightings have been reported.
In April 2020 and April 2021, during the pandemic, “apparitions” of objects on Lake San Roque were also reported, but there was never any official information and they were only images captured by neighbors and disseminated on their networks. In February 2022, a rural producer from Monte Buey was surprised by the story of a “strange light” that followed him in his field.
Pediatric emergencies disrupted due to a wave of sick leave
Be careful if you plan to go to the emergency room with your children. Since Monday and “for a few days”, access to the pediatric emergencies of the Nantes University Hospital is only possible on “prior regulation of the SAMU – Center 15”, according to a press release from the hospital.
Consequence of a regulatory measure to compensate for a lack of “nursing staff and childcare assistants”, and still continue to provide care for children. In question, a wave of sick leaves within the nursing staff of the pediatric service: Tuesday, there were fourteen “short-term sick leaves” in this service.
Alternatives to the emergency room if the child does not have serious symptoms
In response, the CGT union of the CHU de Nantes, in an open letter to the general manager of the hospital, denounces a growing number of “professional burnouts” and “deleterious and inhuman” working conditions. Directly linking the sick leave of pediatric emergency personnel to the “mistreatment” of which they would be victims, the CGT denounces a “non-existent social dialogue”. The union is demanding the creation of new positions, which it considers “essential to preserve the physical and psychological health of professionals”.
If the Nantes University Hospital has not communicated on the reasons for the numerous sick leaves, it recalls that alternative solutions to pediatric emergencies are to be preferred if the child does not present serious symptoms. General practitioner, private pediatrician or SOS Médecins should be contacted first before turning to the emergency room.
