Students, parents and relatives cannot imagine how many loose ends had to be tied so that everything would be “well tied up”.

I am thinking of renting costumes, guaranteeing make-up for each girl, a carpet for them to walk on, balloons, flowers, chains, Creole cars for the journey to the center of the city, a floral offering to José Martí in the park that leads his name, return, waltz across the length and breadth of the square, family buffet…

It was not a whim or whim on the part of the management or the teaching staff at the Camilo Cienfuegos Military School, in Ciego de Ávila, but rather a starting point for the rescue of a beautiful tradition: collectively celebrating the 15th anniversary of students who reach that age .

“I think this party is very good that not even the rain might stop it.
