Apple releases official image of its first store in India
Apple today released official artwork and an image of the Apple BKC — its very first store in India. Located in the city of Mumbai, it is located in a high-end mall in the Bandra Kurla Complex, which is where the acronym that gives the name to the establishment comes from.
According to Maçã, the store’s façade is inspired by the famous black and yellow taxis of the Asian country, popularly called Kaali Peeli. As you can see in the image above, it is currently decorated with a series of decals referencing the company’s various services.
Next to this teaser, Apple also took the opportunity to release the store’s official wallpapers, which can be downloaded from this page and are available for iPhones, iPads and Macs. The artwork used by the company in these wallpapers, it is worth noting, can also be found on the facade of Apple BKC.
Maçã, however, continues without disclosing a date for the opening of the store, but everything leads to believe that this may be regarding to happen. As we commented earlier, the forecast is that the store will start operating later this month.
In addition to Apple BKC, the company is preparing to open another store in the city of Delhi, also in India – which should happen in June. As the Mumbai store was planned to be Apple’s main point of sale in the country, it ended up winning preference at the opening.
M’Bagne: The coordinator of INASF executives from M’Bagne to Nouakchott
As the date of the next elections rapidly approaches, with the closing of the filing of lists, the local political arenas lighten up and/or darken. And the least we can say is that we are witnessing a plethora of suitors, even in the most remote corners of the country.
In M’Bagne, 5th department of Brakna, we registered at least 24 candidate lists. The various political parties, even those who were unknown to the village, have succeeded in presenting candidate lists and are determined to do battle to avoid disappearing and therefore to replenish their coffers.
Faced with this situation, the coordinator of the insaf executives of M’Bagne residing in Nouakchott – a platform for exchanges and sharing, is sounding the alarm and recalling that “respect for the word given to us is an essential value” . Allusion made to the efforts made to make this Moughtaa a stronghold of the ruling party. Indeed, recalls Me Sarr Yéro, last December, activists and executives of several political parties of the opposition and the majority who disputed the ground with the ruling party had joined INSAF, which opened up better electoral prospects for him in May. next. Significant awareness and mobilization work was carried out. An audience with the president of the party and a mega meeting celebrating these rallies was organized in M’Bagne on December 25, 2022. M’Bagne had finished falling completely into the hands of INSAF, it was thought. The commitment to translate these rallies into the victory of the party candidates was proclaimed.
But with the multitude of candidates for the candidacy and the choices made by the party, discontent and slings have reappeared at a gallop. The INSAF candidates must face 23 opposing lists, for a number of registrants of 22,377. All this for that, indignant Me Sarr who seizes the opportunity to remind all party members of their responsibility, inviting them to to prove that “in M’Bagne, respect for one’s word is not an empty word. We must prove to the party, even if some do not approve of some of its choices, that the commitment made by party officials, elected officials and executives to the party president must be reflected in the ballot box, because if our candidates lose , God forbid, it would be a scathing disavowal and the whole department will wait 5 years including a crucial year, that of the presidential election of 2024 to relaunch the battle”. A hypothesis that Me Sarr excludes to consider. And to add: “We must pull ourselves together while there is still time, to demonstrate – we are able to do so – that INSAF remains the main political force in the department of M’Bagne. »
Woman Found Unconscious in Carré Café Toilets in Liège, Allegedly Raped and Suspect Acquitted Despite Lack of Memory
A 26-year-old man from Liège was cleared of charges of raping an unconcious woman who had been found in the toilets of a café in Liège. Although the woman had no recollection of the incident, the defendant consistently claimed that the encounter was consensual. The alleged assault took place in December 2018 and the victim filed a complaint days later. The defendant was facing 40 months in jail if convicted. However, the court ultimately agreed with the defendant’s version of events and acquitted him of all charges.
The correctional court of Liège on Wednesday acquitted a 26-year-old man from Liège who had been suspected of having committed the rape of a lady under the influence of alcohol. This lady had been found unconscious in the toilets of a café in Liège and no longer remembered the scene. But the defendant had always maintained that she was consenting.
The facts took place on December 15, 2018 in the Carré de Liège. A lady who had just experienced a sentimental break with her companion had been found unconscious by a friend in the toilets of a café in the festive center of Liège. She no longer remembered the events that had preceded her discomfort, but she had noted having had sexual relations.
The investigation had identified the defendant, because the two protagonists had concretized their friendship on Facebook the night of the facts. The victim had filed a complaint a few days later and claimed to have been assaulted and raped when she was in a vulnerable situation.
The defendant faced a sentence of 40 months in prison. He had always claimed that it was the victim who had insisted on involving him in sexual relations, because she wanted to have fun following a sentimental breakup. He also asserted that she did not appear in a state rendering her incapable of giving her consent.
The court followed the arguments of the defendant and acquitted him of the facts.
In spite of the victim’s claims of assault and rape, the correctional court of Liège has acquitted the defendant of the charges. The court agreed with the defendant’s argument that the victim had consented to the sexual relations and was not in a vulnerable state. The case highlights the significance of consent and the need to be aware of one’s own state when engaging in sexual activities. While the verdict may be disappointing to the victim, it is essential to remember that justice is a complex process and the outcome may not always reflect the perceived truth.
