Vienna – Wifo boss Gabriel Felbermayr warns the social partners, especially the unions, to exercise restraint in wage and salary demands. “We have to consider whether we should tie wage developments in Austria to the euro zone average or to Germany in the long term,” said Felbermayr in an interview with the daily newspaper “Die Presse”. The increases mightn’t be consistently higher, “because our productivity isn’t that much higher either.”

Yann Sommer’s time at Bayern Munich seems to be over following just six months. The Swiss needs game practice for his last big goal.
Munich – What’s next for FC Bayern Munich? Before the big Bundesliga final next weekend, the record champions are rumbling. The reason for this: probably the first season without a title since 2012. Behind the scenes, the chairs are already beginning to be moved – probably also with goalkeeper Yann Sommer.
| Born: | December 17, 1988 (age 34), Morges, Switzerland |
| Contract with FC Bayern until: | 30. June 2025 |
| market value: | 5 million euros |
The Swiss was signed by Borussia Mönchengladbach in the winter to replace the injured Manuel Neuer. The captain is currently working hard on his comeback and should train with the team once more in preparation. The end of summer? Pretty sure. Because the 34-year-old still has a big dream in his career: the EM 2024 in Germany.
Of course, the former Gladbacher needs match practice at the top level for this. But if Neuer is fit once more, Sommer is unlikely to get this and will lose out – his performance as number one in Munich was too manageable.
Months ago, Manchester United was therefore mentioned as a possible buyer, but this track now seems to be cold. The Kicker now reports (issue of May 24) that there are enough other interested parties for summer. Villarreal, Valencia and Leicester are said to be in search of a keeper. The fact that the Swiss has hardly any prospects in Munich because of the Neuer return has “long been registered”.
Paradoxically, Alexander Nübel also plays a leading role. The Bayern keeper, who is currently on loan to AS Monaco, will leave the Principality. Accordingly, Monaco also needs a new keeper. Meanwhile, a Nübel return to the Isar seems impossible because the former Schalke player does not want to be number two behind Neuer. So the goalkeeping carousel will be spinning wildly this summer.
The Bayern bosses naturally had the plan for a quick summer farewell in the back of their minds. In the end, he was signed for eight million euros – part of this sum might flow back into the Bayern coffers as a transfer fee if sold following this season. Sommer’s contract would be valid until 2025. In the winter, a long term was deliberately chosen in order to be able to call up a comparatively high price for a possible flash sale six months later in the summer. (mind)

Of Gilmore Girls To Desperate Housewives Passing by Ginny & Georgia, mother-child relationships are at the heart of certain stories. Whether they are toxic, fusional or friendly, they have marked the history of the small screen. Which of these cartoon moms looks the most like you? There is no wrong answer: all mothers do what they can and are wonderful.
You spend hours debating the best series with your child, you know the smallest details of his life and your house has become that of his friends? No doubt: you are a Lorelai Gilmore. Cult character of the 2000s, his relationship with Rory made all viewers dream (or nightmare) of Gilmore Girls.
At home, every day is a party. You wake up dancing together to loud music in the living room, your meals are limited to pasta, pancakes and ordered dishes, and you end the day on the sofa, around an XXL pizza and a cuddly toy movie .
Your favorite word is “communication”, excessively if necessary: your child knows that he can tell you anything and count on you. You are his confidante, but also his first fan. On a daily basis, you push him to surpass himself and you remind him that he is capable of anything. This fusional relationship fascinates those around you, but it does not necessarily relate to the world of Care Bears.
Sometimes it explodes. Your arguments are like your love: passionate. When the storm comes, the blame rains down (and you both know how to hurt each other). However, these storms only last a while and you always reconcile over a huge tub of ice cream and a cuddle session. In short, like Lorelai Gilmore, you are the BFF, the confidante and the super cool mom. Warning: do not forget that there are rules, even in family, and that it is necessary to respect the secret garden of others.
Like Georgia Miller in Ginny & Georgia, you would (literally) kill to protect your child. You are as brave as you are determined, and you have fought hard to live this dream life. Your child knows that he can count on you (regardless of time or place) and that you will always get him out of the most delicate situations, even if it means going too far. Who needs Superman or Batman when you have a superheroine like you in her daily life?
For you, every problem has its solution. Your child is humiliated by his teacher in front of everyone? You’re going to slip a bottle of booze into his office and spread rumors regarding him getting fired. His friends no longer want to talk to him and reject him? You will launch a plan of attack with their parents so that they force their children to integrate yours.

When it comes to imagining diabolical plans, you are overflowing with creativity. These actions often cause you problems, but you do not care: the most important thing is the happiness of your family. You might move heaven and earth for a simple smile from your children.
You’re so invested in their lives that sometimes you don’t realize you’re suffocating them and pushing boundaries. No, rummaging through their phone is not proof of love. This is the best way to start a third world war. A word of advice: go pick up some communication tips from Lorelai Gilmore.
Like Bree Van De Kamp in Desperate Housewives, you create complexes for all the other mothers. Your child always arrives at school with homework done and a homemade snack in their bag. On the surface, you lead a perfect life. However, it would be interesting to ask your family members their opinion on the matter. How far can perfection take you?
For Bree, things turned out pretty badly. Andrew got kicked out of high school and put his mom through hell. For her part, Danielle is constantly angry with her and ended up leaving the house. Their mother’s perfectionist side got on their nerves, and they felt constantly watched and judged.

We’re not going to lie to each other, you have a serious control problem. By dint of wanting to live in a perfect world, you want to manage everyone’s life, all the time. Those around you see it as a burden, even if, deep down, they know that you mean well. Like Lorelai and Georgia, you love your children deeply and only want them to be happy.
However, your vision of happiness is different from theirs, and you cannot impose it on everyone. A word of advice: go and have a big glass of margarita with Gabrielle Solis, relax and take some time for yourself. Being a perfect mother is good, but being a happy mother is better.
