This is the first time the “Mission Impossible” series has been filmed in Italy. Specifically, “Mission Impossible: Deadly Reckoning Chapter 1” has been three years since the first scene was filmed in Rome. This is the seventh film in the series of action and espionage films, and will be followed by the eighth (Fatal Reckoning Chapter 2), only, it may also be the last. Speculation aside, the cars featured in this movie are pretty interesting. It all starts with the BMW M5 drag racing, which also plays a major role in many scenes and has no doors. However, many viewers feel that there are more memorable cars in the movie, such as the Fiat 500 when the hero and heroine were born and died. Let’s take stock to see what other powerful cars are there. See more 1.BMW M5 Elisabetta A. Villa Although it is only a 2022 luxury car, when the movie started shooting in 2020, BMW dedicated the M5’s first global appearance to the movie, but it was helpless The global epidemic delayed the filming progress. The car can be described as a supercar disguised as a luxury model. The high-performance BMW M TwinPower Turbo 8-cylinder gasoline engine under the hood is the most powerful engine in a BMW production car, with 600 horsepower (441 kilowatts), 4.4 liters of high-performance power, even at low speeds. Stable high torque. This lightweight high-performance power unit is equipped with high-pressure direct injection technology, two highly dynamic TwinScroll turbochargers and offset exhaust manifolds, which can bring excellent power performance no matter on the road or race track: With 750 Newton meters of torque, it only takes 3.4 seconds to accelerate from 0 to 100 kilometers, and the top speed can reach 305 kilometers per hour. In addition, the four-wheel drive system can be turned off to restore rear-wheel drive, creating a smaller turning radius for high-horsepower vehicles. It is also this special feature that makes this car so successful in movies. 2.Ferrari F12 Tdf The sharp figure of the Ferrari F12 Tdf (Tour de France) version can be clearly seen in the trailer of “Mission Impossible: Deadly Reckoning Chapter 1”. When it is parked in the center of Rome, it looks like So proud of the group “wheel”. This is a special edition model released in 2015, derived from the F12 series: only 799 of it were produced, and its naturally aspirated V12 engine can produce a staggering 780 horsepower and revs at 8,500 rpm. It accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in less than 3 seconds and can reach a top speed of over 340 km/h. 3. Fiat 500 Fiat 500, referring to the ancestor of the mini car in the 1950s, is an important role in the chase scene in the center of Rome. Just thinking of a movie with such a big budget using this city mini car to get the protagonists to escape for their lives seems a bit funny Mission Impossible. This is a very old car, so the Fiat brand actually helped to add the kinetic parts of its new Abarth 500e to the car for the movie, so it looks so amazing. 4. The Honda CRF450 The Honda CRF450 is one of the most popular motocross bikes in the world, and it’s also featured in one of the show’s most pupil-dilated scenes (Tom Cruise’s cliff jump in Norway). The characteristic of this car is that it has a 450c.c. competitive engine and weighs just over 100 kilograms. It is nearly 40 kilograms heavier than the original model of the same model of Hollywood legend Steve McQueen, and its performance is also comparable. Terrible, the wheel horsepower is as high as 55hp, and the torque is 4.8kgm. In the movie, cruise not only used it to conquer the forest area, but also conquered the terrible cliff. This bike is also used for stunts in the past. To learn to control the ferocious skills of this off-road motorcycle, Tom spent months training on a special track and completed regarding 13,000 jumps. 5. Iveco Lince Press Office Iveco features two military vehicles in the film, one of which is the Versatile Light Tactical Vehicle (VTLM), also known as the Lince. This armored vehicle, which is probably not seen by normal people, is a light armored vehicle produced by the Iveco Defense Vehicles depot in Bolzano, Italy. It has high protection performance, off-road performance and speed is a chariot. It can operate in vastly different environments such as geographical location, climatic conditions (-32°C to +49°C) and terrain features. 6. Hummer H2 In the movie, Paris, the villain, drives a car that looks like an anti-riot army chasing the BMW M5 driven by Tom Cruise. It feels like the surrounding cars will be hit or crushed by it. Anyone with a discerning eye will know it is GM and The Hummer vehicle model cooperated by the US military. This high-speed off-road Hummer developed from the GM GMT820 pickup has obviously been modified. In the movie, both torque and horsepower surpass the same-level cars that appeared in previous movies.

RHI Magnesita takes the next step towards net zero emissions
2023-07-18 14:44:50
Vienna (OTS) – RHI Magnesita, the global leader in the refractory industry, announces a partnership with Compact Membrane Systems (CMS) to conduct a new carbon capture pilot project. This cooperation is an important milestone on the way to achieving net-zero emissions. CMS, a pioneer in separation solutions for low-carbon intensity processes, was presented to RHI Magnesita as part of its participation in the Verbund X Accelerator program in 2022, which promotes collaboration between established industry leaders and start-ups. “The Verbund X-Accelerator was a great experience and an excellent opportunity to meet industry players who are actively taking steps towards decarbonization,” says Erica Nemser, CEO of CMS.
RHI Magnesita is the world’s leading manufacturer of refractory materials used in all high-temperature industrial processes. As the market leader, RHI Magnesita feels it has an ecological and economic responsibility to promote sustainability. Reducing CO2 emissions is therefore one of the company’s top priorities. A significant part of the company’s carbon dioxide emissions is released during the processing of raw materials. The decarbonization of the company therefore requires unprecedented innovation and technology.
Andreas Drescher, expert in sustainable technology and decarbonization at RHI Magnesita, explains: “Collaboration between established industrial companies and start-ups is crucial to achieve the sustainable progress that we strive for at RHI Magnesita. As the world’s leading manufacturer of refractory materials we have a responsibility to drive sustainability forward significantly. Reducing CO2 emissions is therefore one of our top priorities.”
Pilot plant planned for 2023 in Austria
After an intensive research and testing phase in 2022, RHI Magnesita will implement CMS’ innovative Optiperm™ carbon membrane technology, which captures off-gases from high-temperature processes, in a pilot plant. This pilot plant is scheduled to go into operation in the fourth quarter of 2023 at an Austrian site of RHI Magnesita. The pilot project aims to verify the effectiveness of the technology in a real industrial environment and pave the way for further phases and scalable projects.
Andreas Drescher comments: “Decarbonising our industry requires unprecedented innovation and investment. Therefore, we have already announced that we will invest 50 million euros in technology research and the construction of pilot plants. CMS is one of the projects realized as part of this ongoing investment. We look forward to the test results of the carbon membrane technology and the prospect of sharing our knowledge with other industrial partners to accelerate their journey to net-zero emissions.”
This partnership marks a significant step towards sustainable industrial practices. The collaboration between CMS and RHI Magnesita will drive the advancement of sustainable technologies in energy-intensive industries and facilitate the transition to a greener and more sustainable future.

Spiritual approach: a CIUSSS opens the door to charlatans, according to an expert
2023-07-13 00:29:25
The CIUSSS du Centre-Sud de l’île de Montréal is looking for volunteers to “support their residents in CHSLDs in their spiritual journey”, without requiring qualifications, which has raised concerns among professionals.
In an interview with QUB radio, the head of the spiritual intervention training program at the University of Montreal, Jean-Marc Barreau, criticized the decision of the CIUSSS.
“Spiritual care workers (ISS) are health professionals, just like a social worker or a psychologist,” he said. […] I really don’t think that’s the place for volunteers, no matter the setting or the pretext. It requires knowledge of anthropology, knowledge of human consciousness and knowledge of different spiritualities.”
“The more specific the subject on which we reflect or intervene, the more the training must be, he added. When you intervene in law, you need legal training. When you intervene in spirituality, it is something specific and you need adequate training.”
According to Jean-Marc Barreau, the CIUSSS opens the door to charlatans who might abuse vulnerable patients. This represents a significant danger according to him.
“A volunteer can hide an intention,” he said. It might be conversion [à une religion].»
The CIUSSS job offer has also prompted some ironic messages on social networks.
“Now, you can be a teacher with a secondary 5 and you can also become ISS without the associated university degree! We really put the well-being of our children and our patients at the center of all decisions, ”wrote Amélie Boisclair on Twitter.
On Wednesday evening, the CIUSSS offer for volunteers was still published on the Facebook social network.

Two months following securing an IMF loan, Ghana is still struggling with the cost of living. The 3 billion dollars granted to Accra by the Bretton Woods institution still has only limited effects. Ghana, hit hard by the double crisis of Covid and the war in Ukraine, saw the inflationary spiral come to a complete halt. However, for consumers, life remains extremely expensive and many are over-indebted.
From our special correspondent in Accra,
In Makola, the center of trade in Ghana, the excitement is daily. But the faces are those of sad days. Inflation rose once more last May, more than 42% over one year. Maria is one of hundreds of food vendors, desperately waiting for a customer. ” You see my bread and butter. Before it was 1.50 cedi now it’s 20 cedi. I spend hours without selling, and it tires me too much! “, she laments.
He too is a man wrung out by the Ghanaian economic crisis. Mickael Blay is a trader who has been established for years in the large second-hand clothing market. The 3 billion dollar loan from the IMF, he has obviously heard of it, but the impact is minimal according to him. “ 1 dollar is worth 11.4 Ghanaian cedis. So nothing has changed. The cedi even rose. The effects of the IMF loan? No, no, no, there has been no change for our daily life. Listen to me carefully: because of the crisis, there is less money in circulation. Prices remain very high. At the monetary level, things are not going well, and the tension is still very strong “, he asserts.
No leeway
But at the macroeconomic level, Accra and the IMF insist that this $3 billion must service Ghana’s debt. In the meantime, the Ghanaian household debt ratio is exploding.
In Kantamanto, Africa’s largest second-hand market, of the 30,000 traders, only 20% make a profit. The vast majority, like Mickael Blay, has no room for manoeuvre. ” We are in debt. Everyone is here. We go to the banks to ask them for a loan to get a cash advance. But the borrowing rates are so high, 35% “, he regrets. “ Just for interest, I pay back 800 cedis per month, 9600 over a year. It’s too much ! And what happens when all your income goes into paying off your loans? I am a father. Tss, life is really hard these days. »
At 40, Mickael Blay and his wife, a bank employee, decided not to have a second child. Also a consequence of the high cost of living in Ghana.
