Tragic Murder in Antoing: Woman Fatally Stabbed – Latest Updates, Details, and Investigation

The woman who was stabbed in Antoing on Friday followingnoon died during the night in a hospital environment, the Tournai-Mons prosecutor’s office said on Saturday. The author, who would be his companion, will be prosecuted for murder or assassination.
The facts took place Friday followingnoon, around 4:00 p.m., in a house on rue Joly, in the lower town of Antoing. An argument would have broken out within the couple, whose man would have stabbed his concubine several times.
The Wallonia Picardy emergency services dispatched an SMUR and an ambulance to the scene. After being stabilized by emergency physicians, the victim was admitted in very serious condition to the emergency department of the Union ChWapi center in Tournai.
“The days of this lady are in danger,” said the public prosecutor of Tournai on Friday evening. “The victim died last night around 11:45 p.m.,” said Dominique Decaluwé, deputy public prosecutor at the Tournai-Mons prosecutor’s office, on Saturday followingnoon. An autopsy of the victim’s body was performed on Saturday.
