At the gamescom 2023 event, new Path of Exile 2 gameplay videos for several available classes were presented. Most of all, the audience was interested in the Druid. This class will allow users not only to activate various spells, but also to take animal form. In particular, the Druid transforms into a bear that slays enemies on the battlefield. In this image, the character also has unique abilities such as a furious attack. It was in the form of a bear, by the way, that the hero went to battle with the local boss. Some players in the comments jokingly remembered the bear from Baldur’s Gate III, but for most users, the footage they saw caused associations with Diablo IV. Some viewers noted that Path of Exile 2 is more like Diablo than “Daiblo itself”. In the past, by the way, PoE creative director Jonathan Rogers noted that he does not consider Diablo 4 an RPG. In addition, the second video was devoted to the game for the Warrior and the Hunter, whose attacks differ in power and speed. The release of Path of Exile 2 itself is scheduled for 2024, the game will be shareware and will be released on PS5, Xbox Series and PC.

In a hurry to the 1st Bundesliga? New basketball club Salzburg Knights aims high
2023-08-25 13:00:00
Ex-supporters of the BBU Salzburg around Adrian Mitchell and Raphael Miksch want to get to the top quickly with the new club.
Adrian Mitchell was the face of BBU Salzburg for many years, while teammate Raphael Miksch also assumed responsibility as chairman of the second division basketball team. In May there was a not entirely smooth separation – because of differences regarding the goals of the club. Mitchell and Miksch will remain in Salzburg basketball. Because with their ex-BBU colleagues Dominik Klocker and Lukas Blank, they recently founded a new basketball club, the BC Salzburg Knights.
“It’s a friends’ project. We want to give something back to our community and create more opportunities to play basketball in Salzburg,” says chairman Miksch, who – like in his time at BBU – doesn’t shy away from high goals. The new men’s team should only play one season in the national league. As early as 2024, the leap into the 2nd Bundesliga should succeed, by 2028 the Salzburg Knights even want to reach Austria’s top division. At the same time, the next generation is to be promoted and a women’s team established. “The youth will be at the heart,” it says.
Training will take place in various school halls in Salzburg from September 11th (details under www.salzburgknights.at) in six age groups from the U10 to the state league team, to which Klocker also belongs as a player. Mitchell, Miksch and Blank are playing for Traunstein this year. “If everything goes according to plan, we’ll get into the 2nd Bundesliga next year,” emphasizes Miksch, who doesn’t see his club as competing with the former club or BSC Salzburg, which is also very active in the city. “We only look at ourselves and our members, we want to do our thing.”
The fact that an ice hockey club and a canoe polo club in Salzburg also go by the name of “Knights” doesn’t bother them. Miksch emphasizes: “Ritter simply goes well with Salzburg with its fortress.”
