Now’s not the time to sing regarding rock ‘n’ roll, girls and drinks
The last few years have not been exactly rosy for Mat Sinner, the bassist and mastermind of numerous bands. After the pandemic was before the serious illness. But Mat was always a fighter and so he jumped off the shovel once more, even though he had already dug a pretty deep hole for him.
Now he’s in touch PRIMAL FEAR and their 13th album “Code Red” returned.
“After my serious illness, this album was my musical way back to normality,” says Sinner. “Code Red was the first production I was able to take part in once more. That was an incisive experience. I was overjoyed to be able to be creative with the guys in the studio once more. It meant the world to me making this album.”
And as it should be for a Power Metal institution, they don’t dally around for long, but hit immediately and with full vehemence. It doesn’t matter whether it’s “Another Hero”, “Bring That Noise”, “Raged By Pain” or “Steelmelter” – no prisoners are taken here and the riffs are fired out of the speakers and straight into the listener’s brain. Musically has become the last work „Metal Commando“ (2020) hardly changed anything, except for the content of the eleven songs.
“Now’s not the time to sing regarding rock ‘n’ roll, girls and drinks,” Mat Sinner said of Code Red. According to him, the world is heading more and more towards the abyss and the end, you can hardly listen to the news anymore because it has almost nothing positive to report. But he also takes the so-called “Cancel Culture” to task with the song of the same name: “There are countries where you simply disappear if you speak your mind. These are unacceptable conditions.” so with sinners. “But I’m not giving in. I’ve always been a rebel, I don’t feel like conforming. And I don’t have to play in certain countries either, it’s that simple.”
Personally, I have to say that I really enjoy just switching off with music and banal lyrics. That also has that certain something in times like this.
With “Code Red”, PRIMAL FEAR return to their old heydays, of course also thanks to the voice of Ralf Scheepers, who – one simply has to say – seems to get better and better with age. Mat noticed that too, which is why his organ was mixed a little louder.
An album that once more sets a mark in the vita of PRIMAL FEAR and represents the return to life for Mat Sinner. A Power Metal hurricane that doesn’t just sweep away, but will carry many along with its violence.

NASA thinks it has found the crater formed by the impact of the Russian probe Luna-25
2023-09-01 16:32:00
The photograph was taken by the LRO (Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter) probe, in orbit around the natural Earth satellite since 2009.
Teams from the US space agency compared images taken before and following the moment of impact, and observed “a new small crater”, explains a press release.
This one “is regarding 10 meters in diameter”, NASA said, and is “regarding 400 km from the planned landing site for Luna-25”.
The American space agency said it had sent commands to the LRO probe to go and observe the area communicated by the Russian space agency Roscosmos as the estimated place of the crash.
Since the crater is “close to the estimated impact point of Luna-25”, NASA teams “conclude that it is likely the result of this mission, and not a natural projectile”.
Nearly fifty years following Moscow’s last successful lunar mission, the nearly 800-kilogram Luna-25 probe crashed into the lunar surface on August 19 following an incident during a pre-landing maneuver .
Only days later, India became the first nation to land a spacecraft near the south pole of the Moon, an unexplored area that is now the focus of all attention, as there is water in the form of ice.
Nasa released an image Thursday evening of a new crater on the Moon, most likely formed by the impact of the Russian Luna-25 probe, which crashed into the lunar surface regarding two weeks ago.
