Azul Conecta presents aircraft with “Chameleon” livery at Aviatrade 2023

During the third edition of Aviatrade, which is already one of the main aviation fairs in the interior of São Paulo, Azul Conecta surprised the public with the presence of the “Camaleão Azul” aircraft, a Cessna Grand Caravan freighter, prefix PR-IHP.
Between the 8th and 9th of November, at Jundiaí airport (SP), the event’s audience was able to observe, first-hand, the result of an aerospace painting, carried out on the tail of the aircraft of the company responsible for Azul’s regional flights.
Created in partnership with X5 Company, official representative of AkzoNobel in Brazil, this painting uses a special paint, capable of changing color – between shades of cyan and purple – depending on the angle from which the plane’s tail is viewed. This unprecedented innovation — because Azul Conecta is the first airline to use it — not only represents an aesthetic achievement, but also a technological advance.
According to Flávio Costa, Technical Vice-President of Azul and President of Azul Conecta, the news meets Azul’s constant search for excellence, creativity and pioneering in the aviation industry. “These technologies implemented by our company show that we are always on the move, seeking to bring innovations that transform the airline sector.”
