December 25 (Xinhua) According to the website of the Central Meteorological Observatory, in the past 24 hours, precipitation has been scarce in most areas of the country, and haze weather has occurred in Huanghuai and other places in North China. On the morning of the 25th, mild to moderate haze and local severe haze occurred in southern Beijing, Tianjin, central and southern Hebei, central and western Shandong, northern Henan, central Liaoning, and Guanzhong in Shaanxi. We are concerned regarding the impact on human health; starting from the 27th Pay attention to the impact of heavy fog weather on transportation in North China, Huanghuai, Jianghuai, Jianghan, Sichuan Basin and other places; from the 25th to the 26th, the wind will be strong in the southern seas, and pay attention to the hazards of strong winds at sea.
Temperatures are gradually rising in most parts of my country
Since the 22nd, the temperature has gradually risen in most parts of the country. After the 25th, the daily average or minimum temperature in the northern region is close to the same period of the year or slightly higher. Around the 27th, the daily average or minimum temperature in the southern area is close to the same period of the normal year or slightly higher.
In the next 10 days, two waves of cold air will affect our country, but the intensity of the cold air is generally weak and will not affect the overall warming trend. Among them, from the 25th to the 27th, cold air affected the northern region. In Inner Mongolia, central and eastern parts of North China, and Northeast China, there were northerly winds of magnitude 4 and gusts of magnitude 6 to 7. The temperature dropped by 4 to 7 in some areas of Northeast China, central and eastern Inner Mongolia, and other places. 6℃, local 8℃. In addition, from the 30th to around January 1, 2024, a strong cold air will affect our country. The temperature will drop by 4 to 6°C in most of the central and eastern parts, and above 8°C in some areas, accompanied by northerly winds around level 4.
There is haze in Huanghuai and other places in North China
On the 25th, atmospheric diffusion conditions were poor in central and southern North China, most of the Huanghuai River, the Fenwei Plain, and the southern part of Northeast China. There were mild to moderate haze in the above-mentioned areas, and severe local haze. Affected by weak cold air from the 26th to the 27th, the haze weather in the above-mentioned areas gradually weakened from north to south. From the 28th to the 31st, atmospheric diffusion conditions in central and southern North China, central and western Huanghuai, Fenwei Plain and other places will once once more deteriorate, and there will be light to moderate haze, and severe haze in some areas. In addition, from the night to the morning of the 27th to the 31st, there was heavy fog in parts of southern North China, central and eastern Huanghuai, eastern Jianghuai, Jianghan, and eastern Sichuan Basin, with localized strong dense fog with visibility less than 200 meters.
Detailed forecast for the next three days
From 08:00 on December 25 to 08:00 on December 26, there was light to moderate snow or sleet in parts of northeastern Inner Mongolia, Heilongjiang, eastern Jilin, and southern Sichuan Plateau. Among them, there was heavy snow (5~ 7 mm). There will be light to moderate rain in parts of western and northern Yunnan, southern Sichuan and other places. Some areas in central and eastern Inner Mongolia, Liaodong Peninsula and other places have winds of magnitude 4 to 6 (see Figure 1). There will be winds of magnitude 7 to 8 and gusts of magnitude 9 in the Taiwan Strait, the ocean east of Taiwan, the Bashi Strait, and the north-central and southwestern waters of the South China Sea.

From 08:00 on December 26 to 08:00 on December 27, there was light snow in some areas in eastern Heilongjiang and northern Xinjiang. There will be light to moderate rain in parts of southern Sichuan, western and northern Yunnan, and Hainan Island. Parts of central and eastern Inner Mongolia, Liaodong Peninsula, southern Hebei, Shandong Peninsula and other places have winds of level 4 to 5 (see Figure 2). There will be winds of magnitude 7 to 8 and gusts of magnitude 9 in the northeastern waters of the South China Sea.

From 08:00 on December 27 to 08:00 on December 28, there was light to moderate snow or sleet in some areas in the mountainous areas of northern and southern Xinjiang, eastern Tibet, and other places. Among them, there was heavy snow (5~ 9 mm). There will be light to moderate rain in parts of southern South China, Hainan Island, Taiwan Island and other places, with local heavy rain (25-35 mm). There are level 4 to 5 winds in some areas in central Inner Mongolia and the Liaodong Peninsula (see Figure 3).
