Three-star defensive lineman Richard ‘Wink’ James announced his decommitment from WVU on Monday.
James, a 2024 prospect, committed to the Mountaineers in May.
“After talking it over with my family, we have decided to decommit from WVU/ My recruitment is 100% open,” James said on Twitter.
After the decommitment, the Mountaineers still have 19 verbal commitments in the class.
