Foreigners eat at Suresh’s thatched shop
Fort Kochi: Want to get delicious local food without breaking the bank? That too, favorite steaming dishes. The star is not a big shop, but a shop. Sura’s Thatt Shop in Fort Kochi Amaravati is thronged here by locals as well as foreigners.
It is now a regular sight that foreigners come to Suresh’s thatch shop, fondly called Sura by the locals. The specialty is that you can eat delicious food at a low cost.
Suresh has been running that shop here for more than a quarter of a century. Dosa, putt, bread and small bites are available at a low price at Suresh’s Thatt shop. The business starts at 4 pm and ends at 11 pm. Although there are many big hotels nearby, locals prefer Sura’s shop.
