Fatal Pedestrian Accident in Trois-Rivières: Investigations Underway

A 20-year-old pedestrian lost his life Sunday followingnoon following being hit by a vehicle in Trois-Rivières, in Mauricie.
The accident occurred around 2:25 p.m., near the intersection of Boulevard du Carmel and Rue De Calonne.
According to initial information, the pedestrian was in the middle of the road before being hit by the vehicle.
When paramedics arrived, the 20-year-old victim was in critical condition. She was quickly transported to hospital where she was pronounced dead “due to the severity of her injuries,” Trois-Rivières police said in a press release.
Investigators and a forensic identification technician went to the site to find out more regarding the exact circumstances of the accident.

Annual Concert of Kings: Chambre d’orchestra Performance in Robiac

It has become a tradition. Every year, the municipality’s culture commission offers a concert of kings. It is an opportunity to return to the Élise Saint-Pierre in Robiac and its magnificent acoustics, but also to see and rehear a very beautiful ensemble which has already performed successfully in Robiac.
This year, under the leadership of Marie-Christine Thomasset, municipal councilor but also musician, the concert will take place on Sunday January 21 at 3 p.m. and, for the occasion, it is a quality ensemble with the Chambre d’orchestra. Avignon which will be present with works by Bach, Beethoven, Grieg, Elgar…
The direction will be provided by Paul Colin and the soloists will be Anne Desruelles on violin and Patrice Barsey on oboe who will perform the reminor concerto for oboe and violin by Bach. FREE ENTRANCE.
