The Government of Qatar confirmed this Tuesday that Israel and the Hamas terrorist group reached a new agreement, this time for medicines that will be intended for both Palestinian civilians in the Gaza Strip and for hostages.

The spokesman for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Doha, Majed Bin Mohamed al Ansari, reported in a statement regarding “the success of a Qatari mediation, in cooperation with the friendly Republic of France” through which “medicines will be delivered along with other humanitarian aid to the civilians of the Gaza Strip, in the most affected and vulnerable areas.”
In exchange, the terrorist group agreed to the delivery of “necessary medications for Israeli captives in Gaza.” These medicines “will leave tomorrow from Doha, bound for the city of Al Arish”, in Egypt and, later, they will be entered into the Palestinian enclave. The transfer will be carried out with two planes from the Qatari Armed Forces.

This news came following the ongoing negotiations were recently made known and, four days ago, the Israeli Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, reported the progress. However, it was not known in detail when or how the operation would be carried out.

This Sunday marked 100 days since the bloody attack that Hamas launched on the Jewish State, in which it captured 250 civilians and took them kidnapped to Gaza. Thanks to a truce agreed at the end of November, some 105 people were freed, although some of the remainder have since died.
The day before, authorities at Kibbutz Be’eri confirmed that Itay Svirsky and Yossi Sharabi are dead but their bodies remain in enemy hands, something that Hamas also maintained, following releasing a video of the two. These maneuvers were repudiated by Israel, which considered them a “brutal use of innocents” as a strategy in its terrorist war.

Although Tel Aviv disbelieves many of these deaths, which Hamas would invent only to attribute them to the Defense Forces, it is estimated that there are a little more than 130 Israeli hostages who remain captive.

While this weekend hundreds of relatives gathered in different parts of the country to demand more action from the Executive, the war cabinet continues to work with the international community to reach an agreement.
Recently, the US Secretary of State, Antony Blinken, toured the Middle East in which he met with leaders and influential actors in the conflict, with whom he discussed measures to avoid an escalation in hostilities and move towards liberation. of civilians, along with assistance for Gazans.
Likewise, at the beginning of the month, Netanyahu had confirmed that negotiations were underway following the political leader of Hamas, Ismail Haniyeh, relaxed an ultimatum that the group had given to Israel.

However, as the days went by, it became known that the militia insisted on its position of a total cessation of hostilities on Gaza in exchange for the release of the hostages, something to which Israel would only agree temporarily – as in the previous agreement – since he promised to continue his fight until the enemy is eradicated, to prevent it from being a threat to his people once more.
In that sense, following liberating the north of the Strip from the terrorist presence, the Army confirmed in the last few hours that the intensive phase of its operations in the south of Gaza “will end soon.”

The death of a 5-year-old girl shocked the Italian region of Veneto. Little Beatrice died of multiple organ failure, which might have been caused by an infection with four viruses.
Italy. A tragic death is currently shaking the Veneto region: According to “Südtirolnews”, 5-year-old Beatrice Angela Gobbo is said to have died of multiple organ failure following a short course of illness, which might be due to an infection with four viruses.
Shortly before New Year’s Eve, her father Giovanni (43) is said to have had flu symptoms. On New Year’s Day, Beatrice felt unwell and later developed a fever. The parents decided to take their 5-year-old daughter to the hospital in Padua.
Initially, Beatrice was able to be stabilized in the hospital, but then the first complications arose – including a cerebral hemorrhage, as “Südtirolnews” further reports. Her condition quickly deteriorated. The girl died on January 4th at 12:45 p.m.
Organs irreparably damaged
“Südtirolnews” cites initial suspicions that the 5-year-old’s illness might have been caused by various types of viruses. During initial examinations, doctors found that Beatrice’s organs had been irreparably damaged. An autopsy will now clarify what exactly led to this collapse.
The doctors are also investigating whether there might be a connection between the father’s illness and the girl’s death. However, doctors do not believe that Beatrice’s death is related to the seasonal flu.
