The United Arab Emirates has announced an interesting visa policy for tourists under the Shenzhen-style visa. Under this visa policy, tourists coming to Dubai will now be able to visit all the Gulf states.
According to Arab media, an official UAE ministry statement has now been issued regarding the launch of the single GCC tourist visa.
The Minister of Economy, Abdullah Bin Tuq Al Marri, said that steps are being taken regarding the GCC visa, in this regard, cooperation is being done with all the Gulf states.
If the statement has been issued by the minister, however, the official statement regarding this tourist visa policy is awaited. It should be noted that according to the news, the single tourist visa policy may start from this year or next year.
Al Marri said that the UAE has developed sustainable tourism practices such as eco-friendly accommodation, wildlife conservation, cultural heritage and national initiatives and strategies such as the ‘National Tourism Strategy 2031’.
While according to Khaleej Times, the tourism sector in the UAE will grow significantly by 26% in 2023 compared to 2022, surpassing the 2019 level of 14%.
